The easiest way to keep parsley for the winter

Some say that in parsley all the flavors of greenery have united. This is a really great description for the classic juicy summer grass. Parsley is one of those spices that grows well. If you have it in the garden, most likely, it is very much. Fortunately, there are excellent ways to store parsley. This is a serious saving and a great way to supplement the dishes throughout the year.

Make rolls of frozen greenery

Of course, if you want to make a crunchy salad, only fresh parsley leaves will suit you. Nevertheless, if you plan to make sauces or season a hearty stew, frozen greens are also perfect. Parsley retains a bright aroma and its texture when frozen. Especially pronounced taste is obtained when you add it to the final stage of cooking. Perhaps you have already heard that the greens can be frozen in ice cubes.

There is another way - to make a kind of rolls. This is the simplest way to store parsley, for which you only need a package. Take a large bundle of washed and dried greens along with the stems - they also give a fragrance - and put it in a bag. Tightly press the parsley so that it is on the bottom of the bag, and then twist the package into a roll. Seal it, wrap a rubber band around the resulting roll and send it to the freezer. When you need parsley, just unfold the package and break it off as much as you need.

Dry the parsley

If there is no space in the freezer, parsley can be stored and dried. If you do not have a special dryer, you can just hang the bundles on the thread. Either way, before drying, parsley must be thoroughly rinsed. If you dry in the air, make sure that the room is cool and that the ventilation is good enough.
