Svarog square: description and meaning of the symbol. What is Svarog Square?

In our time, there is a keen interest in everything related to the culture of our distant ancestors. This is prompted by archaeological discoveries (more and more, as a result of excavations, scientists discover traces of a civilization that is not inferior in any way, and even surpasses the world-famous "cradles of world culture"), on the one hand, and the growing self-awareness of the nation on the other.

This is not heresy, it is a love of antiquity

The fact that the supporters of the ancient, so-called pagan, religions becomes more and more does not at all mean that some of the population of our country knowingly deny Christianity - not at all. There are few real connoisseurs and followers of the Vedic faith, and many of its supporters often have Svarog Square next to the cross. However, it is more a fashion or a superstition, instead of the present tribute to belief. In fact, many wear it because the amulet is beautiful. By the way, it is also called the Star of Russia and the Star of Lady God.

The main pre-Christian god

Before describing Svarog Square, it is necessary to remember the very God. Who is he? What is famous about? Since truth is born in disputes, and there are so many dark spots around antiquities, there is no final definition of who Svarog is. Some believe that it all arose as a result of a mistake and incorrect translation of the "Chronography" of the Byzantine author, John Malala. This invaluable evidence of the time was supposedly translated into the Old Slavonic language in the 10th century. It mentioned that Dazhdbog (like the Greek Greek Helios) - the Sun-god, was called Svarojic, or the son of Svarog.

More than Zeus

An error or not a mistake, but people who know know that Svarog is a true Old Slavic heavenly ruler, the god of fire (like Hephaestus), wisdom, heaven, the father of gods, in short, the most important, and he has his own symbol - Svarog Square. He is the patron of blacksmithing, marriage, hunters and vows. Translated from the Old Indian Sanskrit Svarog means "walking in the sky", or Heavenly Father. In addition, he is the husband of the main goddess of Lada, and it reminds of Zeus already. The myths and legends of ancient Greece are known to many, and the tales of Svarog are not, although they are very beautiful, and the names in them are pleasing to the Russian rumor ... For example, the stone of Alatyr, which turns into a white-combustible stone. From it, and made our main god Earth and gave, like Prometheus, people fire, so Svarog Square represents a hearth with four tongues of flame. He taught our ancestors to cook food, moreover, the preparation of cottage cheese from milk is also his lessons. And, which none of the known gods of other nations did, Svarog threw the plow, the yoke, the battle ax and the cup to prepare a magic drink in it. That's father so father!

The beauty of domestic legends

Svarogov Square is not the only memory of him, we still have the word "bungled" in the lexicon. And although it is claimed that it means to create something magically, most of the time this word is used when you want to describe something that is not done well, but quickly. Nevertheless, the legends surrounding Svarog are one one more beautiful. And the centaur Chiron from our ancestors had his own, and called him Kitovras. He built a temple around the stone of Alatyr, where they began to make sacrifices. As a result, the altar turned out, apparently long before the altars of the ancient Greeks. And what a beautiful legend about the Blue Swarg - a country created by our ancient god! According to her, the ancestors of the Slavs live there and now, and the stars in the sky are their shining eyes. Further, the legend tells about the whereabouts of the ancient temple - a mountain Elbrus, which in ancient times was called Belina or Belaya Gora. There was another name - Bel-Alabyr, and it towered over the Belaya River, flowing near the White City, in which, naturally, the White Russians lived. Everything was white - whether covered with snow, or the snow-white stone Alatyr gleamed. Since it is Svarog attributed to the beginning of the Iron Age on Earth, the altar to him is any forge, any anvil with a hammer, and sacrifices, or trebs, the demigod god (artisan, creator, master) usually consist of cheese cakes or cottage cheese. The celebration of Svarog falls on November 14, the day of Kuzma and Demyan, father and son (a holiday of art forging masters).

As noted above, the emblem of the ancient Slavic god is Svarogov Square. The meaning of the symbol will now be discussed in detail.

Pagan symbolism is called solar or solar symbolism and is represented by the Swastika, which represents the rotation of the shining heavens and, by the way, is also literally translated.
