Screen for a bath - practicality, convenience, beauty

Every resident of an apartment gets into a difficult situation, in which there is a bath, not intended for showering. That is, you can take it, it's good, a mixer with a long hose is there, and the bath allows you to get up without problems in full growth. But full pleasure from the shower is not guaranteed. First, all the time you have to watch, so that the shower is directed towards the wall. Secondly, hitting the body, it still generates a sheaf of splashes flying to the floor. Thirdly, after showering instead of relaxed bliss, you need to remove water from the bathroom floor as soon as possible so that "do not dilute the dampness".

Sometimes, the position is partly saved by the shower curtains, which, as a rule, are 30-40 years old. Although their main purpose was different. In Soviet-built houses very often the bathroom was combined. An opaque curtain shut the person in the bathroom and gave another member of the family the opportunity to use the toilet. The aesthetics of such a solution, as well as the design of curtains made of polyethylene, oilcloth or fabric, leaves much to be desired.

The modern screen for the bath is the exact opposite of the "grandmother's" curtain. It is made of modern materials, made in the same style as the bathroom and, of course, does not get soiled as fast as the "budget" curtain.

The curtains of the XXI century from safety glass or plastic are durable and aesthetic. They are mobile: they can be opened and closed like a door. Such rigid curtains are skeleton, frameless and partially fixed on the frame. There are models that provide a curtain on the semicircle, which allows you to cover the space of modern baths of complex shapes.

There are people who do not endure an enclosed space. For them, special solutions are offered. For example, a screen for the bathroom allows you to separate the rest of the room from the actual bath with a small area in front of it. Another option is a screen that is placed on the bath itself, but fences only part of it. The householder comes into the bath from the side opposite the mixer, and gets into the closed on three sides booth. Such a screen for a bath will suit those who take a shower gently and try not to spray water.

If the bath is bounded by walls on three sides, the solution suggests itself: make the fourth "wall" transparent, in the form of a septum. It turns out a shower cubicle with swinging and sliding doors. Those who are not intimidated by such a "closet" will get the full measure of the pleasure of a shower with hydromassage. No drop outside the bath will fly out. In principle, this screen for a bath in the form of a partition can go up to the ceiling, but it will be more competent to leave the ventilation gap.

There are baths that have a non-standard configuration. To pick up for them a screen of the appropriate form is very difficult, and a partition is completely impossible. Exit from the predicament will help the screen for the bath in the form of an accordion - several panels, fixed on hinges. Such a design easily folds and unfolds, can cover both the entire bathtub and part of it. Unfortunately, the screen-accordion can not boast of reliability, if the hinges with which it is fixed on the wall are not made reinforced, designed for a large load.

If the user does not like the transparent bath screen, you can always choose from tinted, matt or patterned glass. However, it should be taken into account that such a choice will significantly increase the price of the product.
