Foamiran is a decorative material made of foam, which contains vinyl acetate and ethylene. It has many advantages, for example, such as softness, ductility and non-toxicity. The latter circumstance makes it possible to use it in the manufacture of hand-made articles with children.

Foamiran flowers are widely used for decorating hairstyles and clothes, as well as for making wedding accessories. They do not fade and look very natural. For example, roses from foyamiran are suitable for creating a groom's boutonniere, as well as for decorating a cushion for rings, bottles of champagne, etc. The rims-wreaths or hairpins, decorated with buds of roses or already blossoming flowers are beautifully looked.

Making a rose: what you need

To work with foamiran no special tools or devices are needed. It is enough to have at hand:

When the technique of making simple flowers from this material has already been mastered, you can try to collect a bouquet.

This will require:

• PVA glue;
• sponge;
• iron;
• Glue gun;
• Vanillan and green foname;
• Acrylic paints or dry pastels;
• Polymeric self-hardening clay, which will be required for making the base for a rose from foiramane;
• Patterns for petals made from cardboard (large petal size 5 x 6 cm, small - 4 x 4.5 cm, leaf - 4.8 x 6.3, glued - 7 x 6.5 cm);

Creation of petals and the basis for a complex rose from fameirana

Work on the creation of a bunch begins with the production of blanks of different colors for the three roses. To get a petal that resembles the present as much as possible, the following actions are performed:

Assembly

• Slightly press them to the bud, leaving only the tips free;
• Slightly cut 5 large petals and glue them to the flower;
• Fix on the back with a gun;
• Stick the next row of seven large petals, not cutting them;
• So do with the last ten billets.

Making the stalk

When the rose itself is ready, proceed to the creation of the stalk and sepals.

For this, a fairly large drop of glue is made on the stem at the base of the flower and allowed to cool well. Cut out the green foyamiran strips thickness of 0.5 mm. Cut the end of the tape at an acute angle, apply a piece of wire to the end, lubricate with hot glue, fold and wrap up so that the stem for the flower is obtained. Further:

• We glue the first leaf to the wire, the second one from above, so that its tip can not be seen;
• Thus making 3 branches;
• Apply a glue to the base of the flower;
• The resulting cup at the base is wound with a strip of foiamiran;
• Glue the branches with glue from the gun.

Bud

To make the bouquet as natural as possible, you should add a few non-blooming flowers to large roses. The buds of roses from foiramane are made as follows:

• At the end of a piece of wire make a loop;
• If there is a ready-made pattern of roses from the fameiran, then use it, only reducing the size by a factor of 1.5, otherwise cut out of the sheet of this material 2 "droplets" 15 mm wide and 4-7 mm, respectively;
• Heat each petal with an iron and give them a convex shape;

Simple decorative rose

Even those who for the first time decided to make a flower from the fameiran will cope with the creation of a rose in the pattern presented below. To do this, it must be transferred to a sheet of this material with a toothpick and cut out all the details. The ends of the petals are heated with an iron and the fingers give them a convex shape. Then a loop is made at the end of the wire, wrapped in cotton wool and wrapped with billets. Cut out the foyamiran two thin strips of green. One of them wrapped wire.
