The main goal of enthusiasts was the development of sport and hunting automatic weapons. After a decade, the company received its first patent, which was based on an automatic mechanism. After another year of work, the first pistols "Desert Eagle" were issued, called "Eagle 357". The weapon had many shortcomings, so the prototype was given for revision and improvement by one of the Israeli arms companies. The enthusiasts themselves did not have the opportunity to independently modify the device.

Two years later, the pistols "Desert Eagle" appeared on general review, and after a while the weapon began to be produced in mass production. Powerful and rather heavy models very quickly hit the shelves of weapons stores.

Its modern name "Desert Eagle" pistols "Desert Eagle" was purchased in 1985. At that time, the base sample had small changes, in addition the developers equipped it with a special trunk with polygonal cuts. Literally a year later, a new version was released, which had a more powerful cartridge. By the end of 1989, a new modification of the "Deserted Eagle" Mark 5 was introduced. The main difference from the remaining samples was a modified trigger and an increased fuse arm. In addition, the developers have eliminated the constant delay in the shutter.

The first modern modification of "Desert Eagle" appeared only in 1996. It was an improved pistol, equipped with a more powerful cartridge and reinforced frame of the entire structure. All models of this type were produced only for bullets of the fiftieth caliber, this allowed the owners of weapons to independently replace the damaged trunks or purchase additional stores.

All the samples were originally specialized as weapons for hunting large animals or for training firing. For fans of sports armament, in time, a pneumatic pistol "Desert Eagle" was created, which had good technical characteristics and had the necessary power.

Unique in its kind and famous throughout the world, the "Desert Eagle" was used as a weapon only by the civilian population, there is no documentary evidence that the pistol was in the arsenal of America or other countries. But the big and frightening pistol was remembered in many modern fighters, this was the main advertising of the famous model of the company "Magnum Research".
