"Otradnoe" (the metro). Metro of Moscow. Moscow metro stations

In the capital of the Russian Federation there are a lot of places that are actively visited by both the Muscovites themselves and the guests of the metropolis. Many of them gradually become the territories of the so-called "pilgrimage." For example, the Red Square, Tsaritsino, embankment.

And there are those, where they often come to rest from the bustle and rhythm of a huge city. "Otradnoye" is a metro designed specifically for such purposes. There is a small theater and a park with a small river. You can, without leaving the district, make purchases in one of the shops, watch a new film in the cinema or simply take a walk, without thinking about anything.

Section 1. General description and location

The station "Otradnoe" is a metro station located on the Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya line between two other stations - Bibirevo and Vladykino.

Even by name it becomes clear that this is the territory of the same-named region, which is located on the territory of the North-Eastern Administrative District of Moscow.

Local residents know that behind the station there is a so-called "two-way turnaround deadlock", which is used for turning and night settling of the metropolitan underground convoys.

By the way, it should be noted that the station "Otradnoe" is a metro that has only one direct island-type platform. There are not many such people in the city. This, as they say, is its uniqueness.

Section 2. The history of one of Moscow's metro stations

This stop of the Moscow metro was opened relatively recently, in 1991, ie, shortly before the end of the existence of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. And to be more precise, on the very first day of spring - the first of March, on the same day as several more, namely, from Dmitrovskaya, Timiryazevskaya, Petrovsko-Razumovskaya and Vladykino.

Its foundation pit was partially located at the site closed in 1987, the strip of the Beskudnikovskaya railroad branch. Construction at that time engaged in SMU-12 and SMU-14, which created and other metro stations in Moscow.

Section 3. Registration of the station

The authors of the project are the architects VS Volovich and LN Popov, and the design engineer TA Zharova was appointed. They were also engaged in the implementation of a single-vaulted type station project, which was supposed to be shallow under the ground.

As a result, "Otradnoe" is a metro of the so-called "shallow", and it was built at a depth of nine meters.

Its arch is made by specialists from monolithic reinforced concrete. The floor of the platform is paved with plates of black granite, and the traveling walls are faced with the same black marble. Partitions of the vault are decorated with panels of artists Annenkova and Nikolaev, executed in the style of primitivism. They depict the great figures of Russian culture, science and art of the century before last, as well as the attack of grenadiers of the Russian army during the war of 1812 and the uprising of the Decembrists of 1825. The faces of the wives of the Decembrists attract attention. What a gamut of feelings you can read in their eyes!

Section 4. What can you see from the outside?

Metro "Otradnoe" (a subway map shows it magnificently) is visited quite often by the Muscovites themselves and by numerous guests of the Russian capital. Although their nuances are still there. How without them?

It is worth taking into account the fact that, for example, like many other Moscow stations, Otradnoye is a metro that does not have ground vestibules. This means that you can go down to it only through underground passages on the Northern Boulevard and the streets of Sannikov, Decembrists and Khachaturian.

Section 5. Local Infrastructure

Not far from the station there are several shopping centers. These are "Golden Babylon", "Otradnoe", "Leroy Merlin", as well as supermarkets "The Seventh Continent", "Crossroads", "Paterson" and a large number of small shops, in which there is something for buyers with any taste and purse.

Among other things, there are several schools and kindergartens, a polyclinic, dentistry, a veterinary center for pets. In a word, this is a very comfortable place to live, in some cases there is work on the spot. Metro "Otradnoe", by the way, according to real estate agents, a very popular direction. Why not? After all within the limits of a large megacity all this can be considered as indisputable advantages.

Section 6. Interesting and little-known information

Russia, Moscow ... Metro "Otradnoe", like all other stations in the capital, has its own serial number, which is not known to everyone. Employees call it an object 131.

Statistical indicators suggest that a daily flow of about 77,000 passengers passes through this public transport stop.

Take a closer look at the scenery of the station. Especially to the panel, which is dedicated to events that occurred in 1812. Do not you notice anything? And after all, every observant visitor finally draws attention to the fact that the number of legs marching in the ranks of soldiers has an odd number. This is a flawed artist-decorators, with whom they decided to put up, so that they did not have to close the station for repairs again.

Section 7. Schedule of work and services provided by the station to its passengers

"Otradnoe" is a metro that opens its doors for visitors at 5:45 in the morning, and closes at 1:00 in the morning. A few years ago the station worked only until midnight, but then, taking into account the wishes of the population, it was decided to increase the work time by one hour. Now local residents, even those who work on the second shift, practically do not have problems related to getting home without resorting to taxi services.

Among other things, on the territory of the metro stop you can use cellular communication of all the most common operators in the city, namely, MTS, Beeline, MegaFon.

In the beautifully equipped park zone on the banks of the river Likhoborki, young mothers with strollers and lovers love to walk. On the benches in the shade of the trees, pensioners often rest, at tables of the old, like in the times of the Soviet Union, they play chess, dominoes and maps. In winter, local people sometimes pour a small ice rink on their own, a ski track is laid.

Theater "MEL", although it appeared relatively recently, in 1993, already has the deserved fame of one of the most visited places in Moscow. And this is by no means an accident. To date, it has become a real center of youthful creativity. Actors in theatrical productions of different genres are most often students or students of the first courses of the capital's universities.
