But he had to appear in all the films of the epic, besides the "mom" of Harry Potter and his friends, writer Joan Rowling secretly told Matt that in the future his plain-looking and ever-troubled character would change for the better and become a hero.

After the release of the first film in 2001, Matthew literally woke up famous, and the whole world.
