MTS-975: smartphone review

MTS-975 - an interesting model of a smartphone, produced under the brand of a mobile operator. The device has all the necessary functions for regular use. Design

MTS-975 is sold in two colors: black and white. The case is made of cheap plastic, pleasant to the touch. Has a matte coating that quickly collects fingerprints. The corners are slightly beveled for greater convenience.

The front side of the MTS-975 is occupied by a large display with several touch keys, in the upper part there is a front camera and a talking speaker. On the upper side there is a power button and a headphone jack. The microphone and miniUSB-port hit the bottom end. The volume rocker is on the right side. All buttons received a pleasant move, do not hang out and do not emit any strange sounds.

The back cover is removable, with strong squeezing there are creaks. There is a camera eye with a flash and a speaker. Also there is the inscription Paypass, which is made rather miniature. Below there is a small operator logo. The lid is removed with effort, despite the plastic. Under it there is a battery, a slot for SIM-card and microSD. A memory card and a SIM card can be installed by removing the battery first, which is not very comfortable.

Screen

The display received a 4.5-inch diagonal with a resolution of 540x960 pixels. The screen is made by TFT-technology. Around it there is a special frame, which should prevent the appearance of scratches. Thanks to a good oleophobic protection, fingerprints and other contaminants do not appear on the screen.

IPS-matrix is installed. The smartphone MTS-975 obviously can not boast of a quality image from the screen. Often there is not enough brightness, even with a slight deviation to the side there is a distortion of information. In the sun with such a display you will not work actively.

Performance

The platform is installed MTK 6577. It is intended for the initial segment of mobile devices, high performance from which you can not expect. AnTuTu scored just 8000 points, which for the modern device, of course, is not enough.

It is a working machine that responds slowly to requests, which fully corresponds to its price.

There is also 512 MB of RAM here. The volume suffices unless on start of the system. Many applications are noticeably hanging, so you have to constantly clean out the memory. You can completely use it, just by installing several programs. Logs are visible even on desktops and in the browser, because of what the smartphone sometimes wants to throw away. Love speed - do not even look towards MTS-975.

Built-in 4 GB memory. It would seem, not bad. But only 1.4 GB is available for personal use. The rest is spent on the system and useless pre-installed programs. Part of the problem is solved by flashing. Be sure to buy the card, if not included, otherwise feel uncomfortable.

Battery

Equipped with a battery for 1800 mAh. According to many users, they could install a more capacious, because the thickness of the shell allows it to be done. Suffices for the day of average use. Active surfing on the Internet and games discharge the device much faster, so do not forget the charger.

Cameras

If you prefer high-quality images, do not buy the MTS-975. The photos are of a rather poor quality, so the modules are installed here for a checkmark. The main camera received 5 MP, but it seems that much less. The front has only 0.3.

MTS-975 - a budget smartphone, you can buy it for 4000 rubles. Perfect for calls and surfing. You can not count on more.
