After intravenous administration of "Metronidazole Nycomed", after 20 minutes its concentration in the blood begins to increase and its effect lasts for 8 hours. Contraindications to the use of "Metronidazole":

- the presence of hypersensitivity to nitroimidazole derivatives and to metronidazole;

- the presence of organic lesions of the central nervous system;

- the patient has blood diseases;

- women in the first trimester of pregnancy, in the II and III trimester, the drug can be used only in cases of extreme vital necessity;

- When taking the drug by nursing mothers, it is necessary to stop feeding.

Side effects of the drug
