Life before dating Ironman

Sport and vegetarianism are two things in the life of Maria Kolosova, who occupy an important role in her life and who accompanied her long before making an informed choice. In the family of the future "Iron Lady" always respectful of the sporting way of life - her dad was a master of sports in skis, although he was not a professional athlete. He also paid much attention to the physical development of his daughter, thanks to which Maria quickly fell in love with running, skiing and active life. Not less attention in her family was paid to nutrition, preferring only natural and healthy food.

Since the childhood Maria Kolosova has got used to reach the put purposes: school - on excellent, additional employment - a piano and run, three higher educations. One of them - the psychological faculty of Moscow State University, where she successfully studied the motivation. And the first work is the leading project "Gifted Children of Russia".

Maria Kolosova, whose husband very early passed away, was left alone, and for her four children she had to become both mother and father. By her example, she showed the children the importance of setting a goal and moving towards it, regardless of the sphere of life.

So, as a result of an accident at school at the younger son of Mary - Zhenya had a serious trauma - a fracture of the spine. As a result, he was confined to bed for a year, and only maternal love and understanding of how to help the child prioritize, determine goals in life, helped to cope with this trauma.

At that time Maria was carried away by the triathlon, and Zhenya offered to go swimming, and to be more exact, she helped to decide on the goal - to cross the Bosporus. Zhenya was very attracted to this idea, and he began to train with success. As a result - excellent results in recovery after injury, in training and sports. Maria Kolosova, whose biography is filled with unexpected twists, always found the right way out of the most difficult situations. And she was taught a lot by the triathlon - this is the understanding that not always you can be successful, and overcome yourself, and work at the limit of possibilities. But first things first.

Sports "iron people" - triathlon

What is this race, and how does it differ from other sports? This is a multi-sport event that allows you to open all the hidden potentialities of the human body, because to overcome the full distance - means repeatedly overcome yourself. This is due to the change of sports throughout the journey - swimming, cycling and running.

Distance distance is determined by the level of preparedness of the athlete:

In October 2013, a friend of Mary - Dmitry Pronin, gave her a book "Iron Man Is in Everyone". And he showed her the record of the triathlon race that had just passed in Hawaii. And this was the decisive moment, in the sporting self-determination of Mary - it seemed to her that the triathlon was ideal for her, that it was the kind of sport that seemed to be created for her. After all, the whole life of this woman is a constant change of occupation, overcoming oneself, working at the limit of human possibilities, staging and achieving the most incredible goals.

In the fitness club, where Maria practiced a couple of times a week, the coach helped to contact a person who knows about the triathlon not by hearsay. Sasha Zhukov (the trainer of "iron people"), having arrived from the next races, called Kolosova, and for almost an hour talked to her about the way of life, food and her goals in this sport. Despite the fact that Maria's initial level of preparation was "zero" (she ran about five or six kilometers a couple of times a week, she did not know how to ride a bicycle and could not swim at all), he decided that one could start training.

Training

Maria notes that of all the training sessions the most memorable are those that take place on future routes, when she learns the competition places. She tries to come in advance and swim, run or roll back the entire track. The most exciting is the bicycle stage - it should be the most beautiful and provocative. Passing it, Maria feels mixed feelings - amazement, excitement, delight. And it is these trainings that she expects most.

Another kind of memorable training is tests. Based on their results, it becomes clear how effective the previous work is and how to build a further timetable. It is for this reason that the tests cause in the sportswoman incredible excitement, which is even stronger than before the start.

The process and result of training are closely related. Despite the fact that Maria throughout her life, her achievements shows that she is a person of purpose, then in what conditions the training process passes, for her plays a very large role. Favorite training places, a variety of programs, and even failures - everything becomes important and meaningful, by helping to move to a new level, a new stage and once again to rethink values and change priorities.

Sports career

Maria Kolosova, the triathlon for which was a discovery in forty-five years, together with the coach set clear goals and moved to their achievement without sparing their strength. Initially, the work plan was prepared for two years, and two months later, Maria Kolosova passed her first sprint distance in the triathlon. Olympic distance submitted after four months of regular training, and half-Ironman - nine months later. The full distance race in this sport, Maria was only a year and a half after the start of training, and on her account by that time there were already nine starts at different distances.

Currently, Maria Kolosova has a total of more than thirty starts (five of them - Ironman, ten half-distance, several marathons and shorter races in the triathlon). Marathon Maria is not very likable, as this is too monotonous work, and she was used to a constant change of activities, to dynamism and work at the limit of opportunities.

One of the starts Maria started was the amateur Ironstar Sochi, which took place in early June 2015. He passed in the direction of "Olympic distance" - it was necessary to overcome 1500 meters of swimming, 40 km on wheels and 10 km - running. At the age of forty-seven, Mary took the second place in her age category, although by that time there were only two years of training.

Maria's experience is sport and raw diet

Twenty-two years have passed since Maria completely abandoned the animal food. She had to take this step when, during pregnancy, her body simply stopped absorbing animal protein. Maria notes that even before that she was not particularly fond of meat food, and the transition to another food system did not become a stress for her. Subsequently, she just liked this food system, and she became a vegetarian. Maria does not just eat vegetables, but almost completely switched to raw food.

It is considered that without the use of animal protein in sports it is impossible to achieve serious results. However, Maria with her own example proved a completely different theory - everything is possible for the human body! Her frequent breakfast is fruit. In winter it is usually a pomegranate and a bar of pressed dried fruits with nuts. Although most often the nutrient mass from dried fruits the sportswoman prepares herself. She takes in arbitrary proportions nuts, favorite kinds of dried fruits and twists everything through a meat grinder. Summer start of the day - always only fresh fruit.

After the training, Maria immediately eats a vegetable salad or some fruit, and after an hour and a half - nuts. One hundred and fifty grams of nuts give the body the right amount of protein. The main thing is that they are well dried, but not processed. Another sportswoman prefers herbal teas, but more often the energy for training and during competitions Maria gives a mixture of the ground root of ginger with honey and lemon.

Thanks to this nutrition, Maria Kolosova quite successfully proves by her example that raw food and triathlon are completely compatible things.

In addition to her personal life, family, constant learning something, Maria also feels great in the business sphere. She founded and successfully supports two of her own businesses - strategic consulting (financial business) and a network of cafes with only healthy food. Apparently, the directions in them are very different, but she copes with them and gets pleasure from it.

Maria Kolosova is a business coach and consultant for some people, as well as companies, on issues related to improving management effectiveness. This work is her vocation. Helping other people to cultivate themselves, reach new heights, increase their competence and motivation, gives Maria great pleasure. It is this work that is the result of her education in three higher educational institutions, and it is she who is of a semantic nature.

The second business in the life of Mary was a network of cafes, in which only healthy food is served. This business direction she develops together with a partner and a friend - Dmitry Pronin, who also deals with triathlon and marathon running.

A separate direction of this business was the creation of vending machines, in which only healthy products and dishes are sold - 22 types of syrnik, salads and sandwiches. Thus, the owners of the company accustom to the proper nutrition of the most vulnerable in this sense, the audience - office workers.

The Healthy Food project is based on the implementation and delivery of personal values to Maria Kolosova. However, like any business, it should bring not only pleasure, but also income, which business partners have successfully achieved.

Other hobbies and plans for the future

All her life Maria discovers herself in new kinds of activity and constantly learns something. It seems that there is no limit to its possibilities. For example, she is currently studying three languages at once, although she has always considered herself incapable of doing this. She just decided that the usual ways of studying her are not suitable, and she develops her own method of teaching languages.

Another interesting hobby of Maria Kolosova was nutritional science - this is a separate science of healthy nutrition. She reads a lot of literature related to her. He loves Maria to play the piano, but we have to give it less time.

A separate plan for the future is the desire to write. For Maria, this is a fairly new kind of activity, which has very much taken her to the present day. Part of the writing work is similar to the conduct of trainings, since in both kinds of activity there is an opportunity, with the help of the word, to influence other people, to change something in their lives, to bring more colors and achievements to it.
