Lure for pike

The pike is such a fish, which, like a trophy, can only get to a fisherman who has great patience.

Few fishermen know that for the successful catching of such fish it is necessary not only to know all the subtleties of its behavior, but also to choose the right bait for the pike. She, being a pure predator, eats exclusively other fish and other inhabitants of reservoirs, but for this she uses various methods of hunting.

The pike, like a lion on land, is carefully hidden from prey, hanging it for a long time in ambush. Then at high speed rushes to the victim to grab her. But since the pike in the muscles has little blood, so it has to "include" full power in a very short time. This predator can be compared with a sprinter athlete who runs a short distance at a tremendous speed, and comes to the finish completely exhausted.

The pike bait should in many ways be similar to its usual prey and be fed at right angles to its torso. And the chances of catching a predator will grow even more if you simulate a weakened and sick fish that barely moves.

For many anglers, pike baits are a serious problem. After all, if you approach this issue without due attention, then returning home without a catch is simply guaranteed.

The most common mistake is catching one bait, because again and again to throw it and to privatize at the same pace - it is extremely inefficient. Usually anglers with a similar method of catching complain that they are quickly exhausted or that there is no pike at the moment. But it is not so. If they diversify their wiring and bait techniques, then fishing will be successful.

Traditional lures for pike are wobblers and wavering spoon- baits . It is on them that this predator is caught from time immemorial until today.

Heavy wobblers and spoon-baiters, with proper wiring and feed, can descend to six meters. They have an expressive low-frequency game, very similar to a weak fish, which makes them irresistible to pike and indispensable for hunters.

Wobblers are solid voluminous lures on a pike that are made of plastic or wood and imitate fish. With the help of a deepening blade made on them, they can dive with a forward motion, making oscillatory movements, which instantly attracts the predator.

On a shoal work more oscillating spoon-baits, which, unlike wobblers, are more exacting to wiring, but also more swift.

Another species of lure for pike is Swimbate, which is a silicone imitation of a frog, fish, cancer, worms, and sometimes completely outlandish creatures. The main goal of the swimbate is to create a highly animated movement at a depth that will create a situation in which the predator attacks the bait.

The most hazardous is fishing with the use of bait on the pike, which runs almost on the water surface, at a shallow depth. Hidden under the water, the fish is always aware of what is happening at the top, since it is much easier to catch the victim, and these predators always look for easy prey.

Of solid bait the most common are pike bait - jerkbaits, which are rather big. The peculiarity of their structure makes it possible to apply them at different depths (sinking or floating, without blades or with them). Their goal is to lure the pike even from afar and push it toward the attack.

In places where fishing goes among dense thickets or snags, spinnerbates and spinning spoons are especially effective . They are quite large, as well as an additional set of accessories - feathers and furs, making them more visible and giving the movements a smoothness.

Such a large set of baits will give an opportunity to cope even with the most capricious predator, at the same time anglers will not suffer from the choice of bait: all this diversity can easily be taken with you to hunt for pike.
