Sustainability

Kama Automobile Plant (Naberezhnye Chelny) in 1990 became a joint-stock company. A new product in 2015 was the electric buses that were born as a result of cooperation with Drive Electro (Russia). In 2016, the enterprise was put into operation, at the facilities of which the carcasses of car cabins for trucks of the K5 generation will be produced, which became the largest project since the construction of the KamAZ plant itself.

Kama Automobile Plant in 2017 planned the end of installation of the assembly line for engines of a new type - six-row P6. To date, construction work has been completed and accepted by the commission, equipment is being installed from the company "Heckert" (Germany).
