'Japanese economic miracle'

After the war in 1945, Japan was in turmoil. However, since 1950 the country began to develop rapidly. What are the reasons for the "Japanese economic miracle"?

Mainly, the government government has focused on education and high technology. The Japanese have begun to buy up-to-date developments worldwide and introduce them into their own production. Along with this, there was training of qualified personnel. "Japanese economic miracle" would be impossible without highly educated professionals, able to work with new developments using advanced technologies.

In 1950, the share of the country's industry in the entire capitalist world accounted for only two percent. In twenty years - already sixteen percent. By 1968, Japan was already in third place (after the US and the USSR) in terms of production. By 1980, the country pushed back the Soviet Union.

Firms in the state were formed on the principle of "community". Workers were dismissed extremely rarely, seeking, on the contrary, to consolidate people with various benefits. Thus, each employee felt part of the organization.

"Japanese economic miracle" became possible due to automation of production. The widespread introduction of robots and computers. This allowed the release of skilled employees from hard work and transfer them to mental work.

By the nineties, Japan had firmly taken the second place in the world in terms of production volumes. The country together with this stood at the first place in terms of per capita gross national product.

The "Japanese economic miracle" is mainly the lowest unemployment and inflation rate in the world.

At the same time, it should be noted that the rapid development of the state for the first time slowed down in the mid-seventies. This was due to the global crisis (energy and economic). Due to the fact that the country does not have its energy reserves, it has suffered more than other states. During the crisis, some other problems also came to the surface. Thus, there were shortcomings in the social sphere: corruption of officials and insufficient attention to health and safety issues.

However, Japan's technological power allowed to overcome the crisis with minimal losses. The government has invested heavily in energy supply and environmental protection.

"Japanese economic miracle" led to an increase in the welfare of the population of the state, the growth of salaries. This allowed to improve the quality and cost of production.

In the period of the new world crisis, Japan also suffered quite a lot. However, despite a sharp decline in global demand for machinery and cars, industrial production continued to grow.

It should be noted that the last half-century in power in the country was a conglomerate of officials from the middle class and large capitalists, who formed a semi-public system. According to the researchers, the irresponsibility of the government's social policy led to a crisis of government. The Liberal Party has not fulfilled its obligations to the population. In the country, unemployment among young people began to grow. As a result, in 2009, in November, elections were held in Japan. It should be said that Japanese voters are conservative. However, the population refused to trust the Liberal Party by voting for the Democratic Party.

"Japan's economic miracle" allowed the country to consolidate its positions on production volumes in the world. In addition, the country was able to avoid the destruction of the accumulated potential.

Today Japan is one of the most developed countries, and its population continues to maintain a high standard of living.
