Harvest Festival: the scenario of the holding and competitions

Virtually all over the world is a harvest festival. The scenario for each country is different, and the celebration takes place at different times. But the idea of the autumn event is one - to thank for the harvest. This holiday has pagan ancient roots, and nowadays no preschool event passes without it.

Where else is the autumn holiday celebrated?

The harvest festival is celebrated in autumn by Catholics, Orthodox, Ukrainians, Byelorussians, Germans, Americans, Canadians, Chinese, Vietnamese, Indians. This day, humanity thanks the higher powers (each people has its own deity) for fertility. Earlier, Mother Earth was revered, later the autumn harvest festival coincided with the celebration of the Mother of God. This association is associated with the fact that the harvest symbolizes well-being, family happiness, and offspring. All these Christians are also asking the Mother of God.

Roman Catholics celebrated the autumn holiday from the third century of our era, the Slavs always arranged a celebration in the autumn. They were held on different days under different names: autumn, holiday rozhanits, pasikov day, christmas of the Virgin, autumnal architects, Malaya Prychistaya, garden day, sposov day, Mother-autumn, rich man, day, hanging, day of blessing of bread, onions day, Asposov day, the second meeting of autumn.

All this is a harvest festival. The script initially included rituals, traditions, rituals of ancient peoples (now they are shown by theatrical performances). Over time, descendants began to add fun contests, games, giving a celebration of entertainment.

Feast in the Dow

In all groups of the kindergarten, autumn holidays are celebrated. In younger preschoolers, these can be closed events or open lessons. Children together with the tutor prepare for the autumn holiday, learning the names of vegetables, their properties, games, short quatrains. The teacher only makes them a mask (ribbon with a paper image of a vegetable), that is, parents do not need anything for the celebration.

And older preschoolers please their parents with bright ideas, where they reveal all their talents. But that the children's harvest festival was held without hesitation, you need to prepare for it in class:

  • Guessing riddles about autumn;
  • To study the properties of autumn;
  • To study songs, poems on the autumn theme;
  • Repeat what is rich in autumn;
  • Remember vegetables, berries, mushrooms, fruits that are collected in the fall;
  • Learn the dance, where the characters will be autumn themes;
  • Remember the sequence of participants' exit.

To carry out the autumn performance, parents will need help to memorize poems, songs, collect autumn materials (cones, acorns, chestnuts, leaves, branches), sew autumn suits, make autumn crafts. The hall is decorated with teachers, children, parents' committee, and autumn family crafts decorate the hall of the kindergarten.

Example of an autumn event: the beginning

Here is how the preschoolers celebrate the harvest festival. The scenario assumes adult roles of the presenter, Borovichka, Amanita and children's images of a bear cub, Antoshka, fly agarics, Turarama. Preschoolers enter the hall under musical accompaniment, sit on the high chairs. The presenter meets the children with a poem about the fall, focusing on how beautifully the hall is decorated (to match the golden autumn). Then the children go out one at a time, reading poems about autumn.

The presenter tells in a poetic form about the beauty of the golden leaves, inviting children to sing the song "Listopad" (music by M. Krassev, the words of M. Ivensen). After the song, a bear cub rushes in with a bright envelope, reciting verses that this is a telegram for the children. He gives it to the presenter and runs away. The letter was written in the autumn, which says that she has a lot of work (to paint vegetation, to lead the birds to the south, to replenish the stocks of squirrels, bears, hedgehogs), so she offers her mate an assistant, who is recognized by the riddle.

Middle of the view

We continue to consider the children's harvest festival. The script by the middle of the event becomes more active. Borovik enters, asks about autumn berries. Here it comes to cloudberry, and since the mushroom does not remember it, the children sing the song "Moroshka" (music by A. Abramov, M. Plyatskovsky's words). Further, Borovik says that Autumn handed over a basket with uneasy leaves, on which riddles (about the sun, clouds, wind, rain) are written. Preschoolers again together with the host recite the features of autumn weather, study the autumn months. Then the children sing chastushki about autumn.

Borovik all invites to dance in pairs (dance "True friend" in the words of M. Plyatskovskiy, music by B. Saveliev). Next, the fungus guesses a riddle about the mushroom that enters the room. Together with the children remember edible and inedible mushrooms, guess riddles. Next comes the dance of fly agarics. After that, Borovik and Mukhomor leave, and the children leading lead a dance and sing the song "Harvest Collect" (music by A. Filippenko, words by T. Volgina).

End of the children's script

Now Tararam enters, who presents himself in verse form, plays with children in the game with the chairs "The most dexterous." The chairs stand in a circle, and the children run to music around them. As soon as the music abates, you need to take a place. Who will remain without a chair, leaves the game. The chair is removed, the game continues. The winner will be the one who stays with the chair. Then the children dance any dance in the end for Tararama.

After his departure, Antoshka comes along with the children singing the same song (music by V. Shainsky). By the way, this pedicure is used by almost all teachers, arranging a harvest festival (for adults, the scenario includes the following children's game about potatoes). Further preschool children play the game "Plant and collect potatoes". Children are divided into two columns. The first participant takes a bag of potatoes, puts it in drawn circles. Returns and gives an empty sack to the next player who needs to harvest. So the game continues to the last participant, those who all planted and harvest will win.

Antoshka runs off to train, and on his shift comes mushrooms with a basket of cones. The presenter draws attention to the fact that the guys are not belchat, they do not eat cones. On which Borovik asks to close the eyes of the children, he reads a spell, during which the baskets are replaced with apples. Children are treated with delicious apples, farewell poems are read and everyone goes home.

How is the harvest festival in the school?

The script for schoolchildren includes dance, comic, mobile, intellectual contests. It can be a general school holiday for all elementary and senior classes or activities for each class separately. For younger schoolchildren, you can make a whole presentation with useful information about vegetables, and older guys can participate in competitions, showing their knowledge, abilities, skills.

Here is an example of a general school holiday in the form of tea drinking. Classes sit at their desks, on which there should be gifts of Autumn with an autumn bouquet. This is also one of the competitions of the autumn holiday. Prior to the beginning of the celebration, a judge, captains of teams are selected from teachers, pupils of each class, a name, a speech, a motto for the autumn theme is invented. Next, the host announces competitions, the children participate, and the judges then announce the intermediate and final balls. Disco completes the harvest festival. Contests of the autumn event can be presented in the form of television games "Field of Miracles", "Star Hour" or quiz.

Examples of competitions

  • Gifts of Autumn. The dishes are appreciated, the autumn bouquet and the way a participant invites guests to his table.
  • Puzzles. Teams in turn recall the riddles of the autumn theme, they are guessing their opponents. Estimate the number of puzzles, the number of correct answers.
  • The Legend of Vegetables. Schoolchildren need to find in advance three stories of local vegetables: when they appeared, from where they are imported, where they are applied. The problem is that you need to describe the facts gradually, without naming the vegetable, and the opponents must guess what it is. Evaluated as the story itself, its submission, and the answers to the tasks of the opponents.
  • The best salad. It is necessary for a minute to come up with a recipe from autumn products. This competition can be divided into two stages: from edible and inedible products. The originality of the name, the complexity of the dish, the "tasty" description of the salad preparation are evaluated.
  • Who is bigger? In turn, you need to call vegetables, berries, mushrooms, fruits, cones and other gifts, which are collected only in the fall.

What other autumn competitions are there?

  • Suit for the autumn. At the time you need to draw a suit of autumn. Both the image and its representation are evaluated.
  • Dance of leaves. To the music you need to beautifully depict the fall of the leaves.
  • The best still life of the harvest. It is necessary to bring autumn vegetables to every schoolboy from the house. Further from the general heap, participants for a while should make up a still life. Appreciation of originality, aesthetics, information delivery.
  • The best picture. The team is called by the participant at the beginning of the event. While there is a presentation (about 30-40 minutes), you need to make an original panel about the fall from the handy material.

The scenario of the holiday "Harvest Day" can be different. It can be presented in the form of a charity fair. That is, when classes need financial assistance from their parents, then all students bring different homemade cakes. A purely symbolic price is set on it. Children with parents go to the trays, buy products. The sale is accompanied by the presentation of buffoons, autumn poems, songs, dances.

Example scenario for junior schoolchildren

Consider another harvest festival at the school. The script is suitable for junior high school students. All the guys are met by Scarecrow, who conducts a tour of his garden. Only does not call the vegetables directly, but starts from afar, telling where they come from, who brought them, what kindreds they have in other countries, and only the last stage tells a familiar riddle about them.

Then they pass to the contest of proverbs about vegetables. The scarecrow begins, and the children must end their name. Further, schoolchildren should show their self-activity, giving a dance of vegetables or sing about them.

Then the Scarecrow puts the children's attention on the benefits of vegetables and fruits. Again, riddles for the fall theme. Then the children tell poems about the fall. At will, you can tell how the village residents celebrated the autumn celebration (for this purpose you can read the script of the harvest festival in the village or find the rituals of the ancient Slavs). Then the Scarecrow complains that he is standing in one place, offering the children to stay in his place. The applicant should stand on the iron circle of "Health" with a broom. You need to put a broom in front of you, turn on the circle 360 degrees and catch a whisk before it crashes to the floor.

Next, everyone is playing the game "Collect potatoes". While the melody sounds, the children are dancing. As soon as she pauses, schoolchildren should snap up potatoes, which are one less than participants. Then the children stage a fairy tale about a red tomato, and then everyone is treated with sandwiches from these vegetables. Finally, students dance to the song "Antoshka" and "Harvest", go home, as Pugalo tells them.

Scenario of the harvest festival for pensioners

For adults, an autumn holiday is organized by the city or village administration. Usually a fair of vegetables is organized on the square with the presentation of artists. Ordinary citizens can buy the products presented at a low price. Judges determine the winners in contests:

  • The largest vegetable or fruit;
  • A contest of photos of autumn flowers, vegetables, fruits grown in the garden;
  • Competition of autumn bouquets, costumes;
  • Exotic vegetables and fruits grown in their area;
  • Young gardeners who raised their crops;
  • Competition of autumn crafts.

Competitions are approved by local authorities. In addition to garden contests, artists offer their scenario of a harvest festival for pensioners, parents and children. The performance combines songs, theatrical productions of artists with contests for ordinary citizens. There are also various attractions on the square. After the presentation, the winners are announced among truck farmers, summer residents, and prizes are awarded.

Brief conclusions

Autumn festival is held all over the world in the beginning, middle and late autumn. Russian schools, kindergartens, camps can not do without autumn balls, the townspeople look forward to the autumn fairs. But there are countries where all citizens officially celebrate the harvest festival (for adults, the scenario is approved by local authorities). On this day, people can buy gardening products, take part in competitions, get prizes, and children learn a lot of interesting things about vegetables and fruits.
