What kind of car is this? "GAZ Vector Next" is a bus intended for commuter and city traffic. It was first presented to the public in 2015 at the Moscow exhibition "Crocus Expo".

What is noteworthy, the model was developed at the Gorky Automobile Plant, but produced at Pavlovsk. But we will continue our Yaroslavl motor. The environmental emission standard is Euro-5 (thanks to the recirculation system). The maximum power of the Yaroslavl engine is 150 horsepower. The torque is 500 Nm at 1500 revolutions. The engine has a simple cast-iron block and has a high resource. However, due to the introduction of technological innovations, problems with it can be observed. The YaMZ engine is paired with a manual gearbox C40R13 manufactured by the Gorky Automobile Plant. The transmission was previously installed on GAZONS, so it has long proven its reliability. In the transmission there is no electronics - all the switching is done mechanically. The average fuel consumption of the bus "GAZ Vector Next" is 20 liters per hundred kilometers. Overclocking to a hundred by the manufacturer was not regulated. But the maximum speed is exactly 100 kilometers per hour. In the future, the manufacturer plans to expand the range of power units, including engines on gas engine fuel.

Chassis

The bus has a similar platform with a truck "GAZON NEXT". This is not surprising, because the old PAZs were also built on the basis of GAZ. However, here, in this bus, the suspension is slightly upgraded. Front use of a spring beam with a transverse stabilizer, but behind - a full air suspension. The body itself is a semi-bearing structure. The steering system is an integral type, supplemented with a hydraulic booster. Brakes are pneumatic, the Belgian company Wabco. The feedback says that this system is very reliable. Front and back are used disk mechanisms. Also, the brakes are equipped with ABS sensors and have automatic clearance adjustment.
