Fedor Chistyakov: the way to light

A merry song about a real Indian became Chistiakov's calling card. But the author's real life is far from carefree, he had to endure many trials and hardships. How did the musician succeed in finding the true path to harmony and happiness? For this he had to go to the very bottom of life, but we'll start from the very beginning.

Difficult childhood

Fedor Chistyakov was born on December 28, 1967 in a simple family. The grandfather of the musician was a hero of the Great Patriotic War, but the boy grew up with his mother, and it was she who had the greatest influence on his life. Having grown up, Chistiakov said that they lived very modestly in a communal apartment, where he was ashamed to invite friends, and my mother was a very heavy man, and he constantly wanted to leave her. But at the same time, since childhood, the child was engaged in a circle - he learns to play the accordion, and later goes to music school. He changed schools several times, and this helped him get to know Alexei Nikolaev and Anatoly Platonov, who shared Chistyakov's passion for rock. Together the schoolchildren create the punk band Scrap, they record an album with the same name, which was highly appreciated by Andrei Tropillo, an underground sound producer and producer of many rock bands of the time. He greatly helped the guys, teaching them the basics of recording songs, arrangements and many other secrets. But most importantly, he gave them faith in themselves, and the group began to actively create with the easy hand Tropillo.

"Zero" as a way of life

Since 1986, a very turbulent period in the life of a musician begins. Fedor Chistyakov and his comrades create a group that gets the name "Zero". The Leningrad rock club hospitably opened the doors for the new collective, and the musicians began actively touring and recording new songs. "Zero" differed from all the teams of that time with an unusual sound, which was promoted by Chistyakovsky accordion, caustic texts with social themes and incredible stage charisma of the soloist. For six years the group has traveled half of the country and some foreign countries: Finland, Czech Republic, Ireland and others.

Musical fading

Time of prosperity and success of the group "Zero" became for the musicians absolutely carnival, the tour was accompanied by active use of alcohol and drugs, disorderly connections. Fedor Chistyakov speaks of that time as a gradual rapprochement with darkness. However, one can not deny the musical achievements of that time. The band recorded in 1991 the album "Songs about unrequited love for the Motherland", songs from which become hits and some of them: "Man and the Cat", "The Song of the Real Indian", "I Go, I Smoke" - still have not lost popularity . The group shoots the first video clips, with such an intense life Fedor Chistyakov continues to actively create songs, giving himself energy through doping. Such a regime of life is difficult to sustain for a long time, and so everything rolled rapidly to the denouement.

Threshold of insanity

And in 1992 there was a terrible. Fedor Chistyakov in a fit of insanity attacks with a knife on the neighbor in the country, he yells that he wants to kill the witch. The musician gets to the police, and then, by a court order, goes to compulsory treatment of paranoid schizophrenia. Often, the paths of musicians end tragically, but there are miraculous deliverances, such as Fedor Chistyakov. Biography of the singer has changed dramatically, reaching the very bottom of life. He knew the real madness, went so far as to hear voices that told him what to do, the disease swallowed his mind. About three years spent in a psychiatric hospital, Chistyakov almost does not say, only says that adapting to ordinary life after such a test is quite difficult and that he was looking for an outlet to the light through the Bible.

Path to light

The search for the meaning of life and moral support led the musician to faith. After the treatment, the updated Fedor Chistyakov returns to the world, the photo of which now represents a very calm and peaceful person. He found himself and his new path in the religious community "Jehovah's Witnesses", where he was helped to find his reading of the Bible and to find the meaning of life. He says without any pathos that faith saved him.

Returning to the world, Chistiakov reconsiders all his values, he even writes a series of gospels, his other music does not excite him for a while. Then gradually comes a return to the classics, he releases instrumental works of Bach, then cover versions of Soviet songs. The musician is looking for a new way to music, not wishing to perform his old works. But little by little Fedor gets in shape and even returns to old songs. He no longer drinks or smokes and finds in music a different pleasure.

Fedor Chistyakov is a real

In the 2000s, a new creator appeared in the music space. Fedor Chistyakov, whose discography has 10 studio and 6 live albums, as well as nearly 2 dozen programs in which he participated in various capacities, tried several times to complete his stage activities, but fortunately for the audience, he always returned. In 2003 he released the album "Ondatr", wrote a lot for the cinema, toured with the group "Cafe". One of his newest projects "Accordion-rock" - the performance of classical rock works on the accordion.

When a person finds himself, then he finds harmony, and family, Fedor Chistyakov became an example of such a rule. The wife of the hero is the most ordinary woman who shares the religious views of her husband. About her, Fyodor always speaks warmly and with love, because she not only became his companion, she helped him survive a very difficult period when she had to take care of a seriously ill mother. Chistyakov is a rare example of how a person, having passed all the circles of earthly hell, finds himself and comes out of trials stronger, whole and present.
