Plot

The drama "8 Mile" (actors and roles were built by fans in the status of cult) tells the story of the life of Jimmy Smith, Jr. - a morose fellow from Detroit. He lives in an area dominated by African-American populations, so the hero is obsessed with rap culture and has the nickname Rabbit. The protagonist works at the plant, lives in the trailer with his mother, her friend and sister, and every free moment he devotes to writing texts. The guy regularly participates in rap battles, which suit his friend Future, but Jimmy does not manage to catch the right emotional wave. All routine and problems as a result of the boy gives battle, but not using fists, recitative.

The film was doomed to success, as the stars of cinema and world show business were engaged in the film "8 Mile". Actors-professionals were pleasantly surprised by the demonstrated dramatic talent of the rap artist Eminem.
