Do mothers give money for the first child, and on what payments can a woman count in a decree?

"What a pity that they do not give maternity capital for the first child," young mothers sigh. And, as a rule, it is the young families, in which the spouses have just signed and brought the baby, need better housing conditions and material support. The existing reality is that you can save your husband and wife on your living space independently, without parents' support, by the age of 40. By the same token, the appearance of the baby significantly undermines the family budget (instead of two salaries for two there is one for three), and the family will no longer be able to pay contributions On the mortgage.

Therefore, the pair either pulls to the last with the birth of a child, trying to work out a material base, or give birth to one and wander through a rented apartment for 15-20 years. Naturally, in such a situation, the maternity capital for the first child would significantly improve the situation, since many young families immediately after the appearance of the baby would have the opportunity to purchase or expand their living space.

At the moment, the only help for the birth of a child that mothers can expect to receive maternity leave is:

  1. Compensation for early registration in a women's consultation. This federal payment is only 400 rubles. It can be obtained by working women at their place of work, if they are registered for up to 12 weeks. The purpose of this compensation is to involve women in antenatal clinics at an early date in order to identify possible pathologies of the fetus and, if necessary, to support the pregnant mother in time with medications if her pregnancy proceeds with complications.
  2. The largest single payment that a pregnant woman receives is a maternity allowance. Of course, the amount can not be compared with the parent capital, but if the future mother works officially, earns well, then the amount can go quite decent. Maximum it can be about 168 thousand rubles. In fact, it is vacation, which a woman receives for 140 days of maternity leave. And it is calculated individually - the average daily official earnings are multiplied by the number of days of rest.
  3. Allowance for caring for a child up to a year and a half. Paid from the official part of wages and accounts for 40% of monthly earnings.
  4. Compensation payment from 1.5 to 3 years at a rate of 50 rubles per month for certain categories.

As can be seen, the maternal capital for the first child would not be superfluous as a material support to the family. However, it is issued only for the second child, and can be spent for certain purposes: improving the family's housing conditions, for the education of the child, including paid private school, to replenish the mother's pension account, and it can be used only three years after The birth of a second baby. The reasons are obvious: mothers who lead an antisocial way of life, without understanding the legal nuances, often give birth to another baby in order to receive a large sum of money.

The exception is the mortgage. If the family "hangs" a long-term loan for housing, the parent capital can be used immediately to close all debt or part of the debt.

Do mothers give birth to the first child? They do not give, and will not be given in the near future. But now in the development there is a law on which women will retain the right to receive childcare allowance up to three years, regardless of the number of children. However, at this time, the source of payments is not defined, and in addition, this manual is planned to be introduced in different areas at different times. For example, in the Sverdlovsk region, the law should enter into force on 01/01/2013, and in the Lipetsk and Orenburg regions from 01/01/2014.

In many areas, as a support for large families, a large sum is paid at a time at the birth of the third child (depending on the specific region, 50-100 thousand), which can be spent on current needs.
