"De-nol" preparation: indications for use, instructions and side effects

The drug "De-nol" (indications for use will be discussed below) is an effective and fairly common medical device that protects the walls of the main digestive organ from the effects of gastric acid acids. During treatment with this medication, a kind of film is formed in the human stomach that helps to cicatrize the erosive and ulcerative processes. The presented drug increases the synthesis of prostaglandin E2, stimulates the formation of bicarbonates and mucus, and also has a bactericidal effect on a microbe such as Helicobacter pylori.

Medication "De-nol": indications for use

This drug should be given to the patient only by the doctor in charge. As a rule, it is used to treat such abnormalities as:

  • Peptic ulcer and erosion of the mucosa of the main digestive organ, as well as the 12-intestinal tract;
  • Gastritis, including Helicobacter pylori caused by the microbe (in combination with other drugs);
  • Chronic gastroduodenitis and gastritis in the phase of their exacerbation;
  • Functional dyspepsia, which is not associated with organic lesions of the digestive tract.

In connection with the high effectiveness of treatment, gastroenterologists quite often prescribe to their patients the drug "De-Nol". Indications for the use of this remedy also include ulcerative-erosive lesions of the mucous membranes of the duodenum and stomach, which are caused by the use of anti-inflammatory non-steroid medications. In addition, it is prescribed to those patients who are constantly experiencing flatulence with symptoms of diarrhea.

The drug "De-nol": instruction, price, analogues of the remedy

Use this medication to treat a disease of the digestive tract should only be prescribed by a doctor. The dosage of this remedy depends on the age of the patient:

  • Adults and children over 12-13 years of age should take the drug in the amount of the 1st pill four times a day or 2 times a day.
  • For children from 8 to 12-13 years, the "De-nol" remedy is prescribed on a pill twice a day (after a night's sleep, or rather before breakfast and before the last meal).
  • Children from 4 to 8 years of age are prescribed this remedy based on the weight of the child's body (8 milligrams per kilogram), that is, 1 or 2 tablets per day.

Such a medicine for the treatment of any gastrointestinal diseases should be taken only 30 to 34 minutes before a meal, washed down with a small amount of water. The course of therapy should last 4 or 8 weeks (depending on the severity of the disease). During the next 2 months, it is forbidden to take drugs that contain bismuth.

Like many medicines, the drug "De-nol", the cost of which varies between 500-600 rubles for 56 tablets, and has cheaper analogues. These include such drugs as "Sukralfat" and "Ventrisol".

Side effects

The drug "De-nol" (indications for use have been described in detail above) can cause the following side effects:

  • A chair of coal color (black feces);
  • The appearance of nausea;
  • Vomiting;
  • Diarrhea or, conversely, constipation;
  • Rashes and itching on the skin;
  • Anaphylactic reaction from the immune system.
