Creating a Site

Well, you decided to create a website, which is undoubtedly the first step to promoting your business. Your site is your face on the World Wide Web, your image and your success. As the unforgettable Bill Gates said, "If you are not on the Internet - you do not exist," maybe someone will find this statement slightly self-confident and harsh, but look where you are, and where old Billy is. :) A person with such incomes certainly knows what he is saying, and his words should be heeded.

Your site can be just a brief presentation of your activities (if you are an entrepreneur) or say a blog, a kind of diary in which you write what you want (if you say a student). Website creation process is sometimes long and laborious enough, so be patient and start to determine the goals of your site and, accordingly, with its target audience.

The target orientation of your site will determine its structure and appearance. If you have enough business card site with your coordinates and activities, you should not post on this site a forum or blog. But if you want to create an online store, you should think about at least a form of feedback (in which customers can write something or ask a question) or a guest book with the same functions.

In order to be confirmed in its opinion with respect to the development and structure of the site, it is advisable to go through the Internet, on similar sites with a similar theme. It will be enough to write out a simple piece of paper, those menu items and modules that you liked. After 10-20 sites you will gather enough information to add your own opinion about your personal site. Do not make the site too cumbersome - everything should be simple and intuitive, understandable to the user. The person who came to your site should immediately see where he got, why this site exists, and leave this person with an undeniable desire to return to your site again.

Sites of business orientation can always be identified by the logos at the top of the site and if it is an online store, by the availability of goods on the first page of the site. It's the same with the sites of public organizations and municipal formations. With blogs, forums and other "personal" sites, everything is not straightforward. Sometimes a person creating a forum simply does not represent its target audience, well, as a consequence - it does not come to him. :)

The main goal of a person who comes to any page - first of all information, but how much it will be useful to this particular person - depends on you. If the visitor of your site has the information "useful" - he will come to you more than once, but if he did not find useful information for himself - disappointment is inevitable. And it will be a disappointment in your website and you personally. :) Therefore, do not disappoint potential customers and visitors - create your site as interesting and unique as possible. This will attract new visitors and retain the old ones, and will also promote your site in search engines well.

To create sites with commercial use, the main criterion in the development of the site should be profitability. It should be remembered that a site is a business tool, and profitability is evaluated not only from the point of view of direct sales, but also from the point of view of popularization of a specific product or trademark. Let's say a person who went to the website of an online store may not make a purchase, but he will remember the trademark or will be interested in other products exhibited in the store. Here the principle of deferred sales will already work.

Well, about search engines, saitostroiteleh and stimulation of sales, we will talk in the following articles.
