Here a huge number of different representatives of the animal and plant world are collected. Among them there are specimens that are under the threat of complete extinction.

The territory of the park on the east side is washed by the waters of the Tasman Sea. In this natural area you can meet a lot of snakes, lizards and colorful flowers. The park trails are lined with decking of metal or wood. This is done in order not to damage vegetation. Known to many tourists, the snake head that hangs over the ocean is one of the symbols of the Royal National Park in Sydney.

Large public park

Well, how can you do without public parks, such a metropolis as Sydney? The Centennial Park from the founding of Australia is an incredibly large natural recreation area for people. The area of the object is 220 hectares. As early as 1886, planning began for this area. But to realize all the plans did not succeed. For example, the establishment of party congresses and the museum were never erected. The grand opening of the park took place in 1888.

The Federation monument became an important attraction of the Centennial Park. Through this natural zone passes the road Grand Drive. In 2002, it was the stage of the marathon race at the Olympics.

In memory of the Olympiad
