An original restaurant: customers here do not know what the waiter with dementia will bring them

Agree that when you go to a restaurant or a cafe you will be uncomfortable if the waiter confuses your order. After all, you hardly want to eat, for example, borscht instead of the ordered steak. However, in Japan they decided to approach this issue differently. So, in Tokyo appeared "Restaurant erroneous orders."

Mission of the institution

This original restaurant was opened not only for the entertainment of customers. The main goal of the organizers was to prove that waiters with dementia can also fulfill their duties.

The institution worked in a trial mode for only three days - from June 2 to June 4, 2017.

People who visited him were aware that they might get confused with their order. However, knowing this in advance, they were sympathetic to the possible mistakes of the staff.

After all, people with brain diseases can also be full members of society.

One of the visitors to the original restaurant was the food blogger Mizuho Kudo. Instead of the ordered hamburger she was brought dumplings of giosis. Nevertheless, she was completely delighted.

According to Kudo, the dish was very tasty, and the waitresses literally enchanted with their smiles.

Such an event is also planned to be held in the autumn, timed to coincide with the World Day of Fighting Alzheimer's Disease, which is celebrated on September 21.

It is possible that soon will open and a constantly working restaurant, in which the errors of waiters with dementia will only touch the visitors.
