Acer 5250: an ideal entry-level notebook from a well-known computer equipment manufacturer

One of the most affordable models of notebooks in 2011, which allowed to solve the problems of entry-level without any problems, was the Acer 5250. In essence, from the standpoint of technical specifications, this device belonged to the class of netbooks. Their distinguishing feature was the relatively low speed, but at the same time the autonomy was really phenomenal.

Acer 5250 was an excellent netbook for every day. He perfectly suited for the implementation of the most simple tasks. The minimum size of the hard drive was 320 GB, and this is more than enough for such a mobile PC.

Software components

Depending on the model, as a system software in this case, either "Linux" or "Windows 7" could act. And in the latter case, the version of "Starter Edishen" was used with a very, very circumscribed function. But still this system software was quite enough to implement the tasks assigned to such a device. Moreover, it is not recommended to install something better in this case: the performance will decrease several times.

The autonomy of the laptop and its rechargeable battery

Not bad was the case with the autonomy of the Acer 5250. Its characteristics indicated the presence of a rechargeable battery with 4 Li Ion cells. One of them charging at maximum load was enough for 4,5 - 5 hours of battery life. Well, if you use a netbook less intensively, you could even count on 6-7 hours of operation. These are excellent indicators for this class of devices.

The price for the Acer 5250 began in 2011 with a mark of 370 dollars. Given the technical parameters, this was a normal price tag. In this case, the integrated graphics accelerator of this computer solution, in fact, at that time had no analogues. He allowed to display the image in the format "FullAidDi". Like its analogues from Intel could not boast. But the processor parts in this case were almost equal.

Results

Excellent notebook 2011 release with a basic set of functions for every day and with a high degree of autonomy - this Acer 5250. Even now, 5 years after the start of sales, this mobile device is simply obliged to cope with the duties assigned to it.
