Before you start this exciting work, you need to prepare tools. Among them: scissors, a pencil, colored paper or white paper with various devices for coloring (from pencils to cans with paints, which are sold in special art shops). Well, now everything is ready for us to have a rose from the paper in our hands.

The first thing you need to decide what color shade you want to create. It all depends on your taste, however, in this mini-lesson, we'll look at how a red rose is made from paper. The production scheme is quite simple, but the result is truly impressive with its beauty!

Now that you have decided on the color, you can start working. Take the colored paper and cut out the square about 12 by 12 centimeters. True, its sides depend on the size of flowers we want to get. The larger the bud, the larger the side of our colored square. Cut out? Good. Now determine the center of the square. You can do it by sight. Put a point in the center and start drawing a spiral. It is not necessary that it be even. However, here there is a nuance. The space between the lines that are closer to the center should be somewhat larger than between those drawn closer to the edges. For example, if near the center is approximately 16-18 mm, then the distance between the "marginal lines" should be 12-14 mm. The spiral should be drawn with a simple pencil, especially not zealous when pressed: the fact is that then these lines will not look very nice, and they will not be able to erase them from colored paper - there will remain white streaks and stains. However, if the paper is glossy, then you can try.

Well, how to draw a spiral? Perfectly. Now we begin to cut it, of course, starting from the outside. The angles of the square should be cut off in this case, so that a round paper spiral turns out.

So, what should I do next? We take hold of the end of the spiral and gently begin to twist the paper strip into a tube. It should not be very dense. Look at the real roses. A qualitatively made rose made of paper almost does not differ from them. Rely on your sense of proportion, feel yourself an artist. Between the petals there is some space that we need to express, making paper flowers.

When the paper strip is over, and there is more room to fold our rose, fix the result with glue (it is desirable that it was glue-moment). Do not overdo it! A large amount of glue immediately catches your eye.
