Dewey Finn is an otvyzny guy who most of his time will tell the music. His vocation is rock, and his dream is to play on a big stage in front of thousands of fans. He even made a team and bought the necessary equipment. But to become popular and recognizable, you must first win at the annual tournament of rock bands. The only problem is that his own group refuses to cooperate with Dewey.

But the troubles do not end there. The guy is in danger of losing his roof over his head soon, if he does not find what to pay for the room. Therefore, he decides on a desperate act. When his neighbor in the apartment is invited to replace a sick teacher at a local school, Dewey goes to work instead. Of course, he is unlikely to be able to give the fifth graders the necessary knowledge, guaranteed by the school curriculum. But perhaps, Horace Green Elementary School is his last chance to fulfill the dream of a lifetime.

"Green Primary School" is noteworthy in that, in addition to the general norms adopted in all general education institutions, there are their own individual rules and regulations. In such a school only teachers with the best recommendations teach. Dewey Finn, whose role was played in the movie ("School of Rock") Jack Black, there just is not the place. But he is there, for which he thanks the principal of the school.

Rosalyn Mullins (Joan Cusack) is a responsible and serious woman. Manage the school it was not for nothing. Traditions of this place are the most important for her, it will not allow anyone to violate them, because it is for this feature that parents pay a lot of money. Of course, she is also a man, and after a couple of glasses of beer, Miss Mullins allows herself to relax. But the rest of the days she is very strict and attentive. It's unclear just why she did not recognize such a dumb guy as Dewey Finn when she interviewed.

And what about Ned Schnibli, played by Mike White? To be honest, he himself is to blame for having lost his work. I saw that my friend was trying, could not he wait with a long time. After all, the guys used to do music together. And now he demands money, as if they are strangers.

Although it can be understood, the guy very much cherishes the relationship with his girlfriend Patty De Marco (Sarah Silverman). But they will not be happy until Dewey starts paying with them for housing. Ned does not like to be constantly reminded of money, but Patty puts too much pressure on him. I wonder how long they have such a love?

So the children visit her completely different, and their basic knowledge does not affect the admission. Here, as in an ordinary school, some students openly protest against education, while others simply adore to do, and still others pretend that they are all happy, but secretly from their parents devote all their time to their favorite business. But there is something that unites them - they are all creative personalities. Literally on the second day of this and learned Dewey Finn.

It was in these children that he saw the fulfillment of his cherished dream. In the music class, the guy noticed the excellent keyboardist Lawrence (Robert Tsai), the prospective guitarist Zach (Jay Geidos), the bass guitarist Kathy (Rebecca Brown), drummer Freddie (Kevin Alexander Clark) and three vocalists: Tomik, Martha and Alicia (Mariam Hassan, Caitlin Hale and Aleysha Allen). And even before that they performed classical music, nothing prevents them from becoming a rock band. By the way, you should also envy the organizational skills of Dewey Finn, because he was able to find an occupation for all fifth graders.

Two sides

On the one hand, the film "School of Rock" is not only a long and difficult path to the cherished dream of a devoted fan of rock. This is a story and how he, being a mentor, was able to positively influence his wards. He helped them overcome doubts and made their choice, despite the categorical prohibition of parents.

On the other hand, everything looks as if he is using the talent of his students to achieve his goals. But who knows, maybe it is. Maybe he does not care about their desires. And if everything that he promises them, is not true? After all, Dewey Finn had already deceived them. You can find out about this only by watching the film "School of Rock" until the end.

Jack Black received the main role in the film not only for his acting data. In real life, he also does music, plays in the rock band Tenacious D. So he probably did not just get used to the role.

The musical performance, created by director Richard Linklater, received quite high ratings among the world's critics.
