Jan Kovář: career and achievements

Jan Kovarj - hockey player of the club "Metallurg" from Magnitogorsk. He was born in the Czech Republic in 1990. Almost all his career spent at home. The first medals in the Czech championship Jan won in the season 2011/12. "Pilsen" took third place in the Extraliga, and Kovar again was one of the most notable hockey players on the rink. In the asset striker 20 goals, 39 assists in 64 played fights. A year later, together with "Pilsen", Jan won the gold medals of the Czech championship. Metallurg Magnitogorsk

Despite a successful performance in the Czech Extraliga, Jan Kovarzh decided not to renew the contract with the club and moved to the Magnitogorsk Metallurg. The contract with the Russian hockey club was designed for three years. Active interest in the attacker and showed Nizhnekamsk "Neftekhimik", but the Czech chose one of the most titled clubs in Russia.

The first match for the club from Magnitogorsk, Ian held in early September 2013. It was a meeting with the Moscow "Dynamo". His debut Czech marked the throwing of the puck.

As part of Magnitogorsk Metallurg, Yang became the owner of the Gagarin Cup in 2014 and 2016. In the same years he took part in the match of all the stars of the KHL. At the end of the season, 2013/14 received the title of "The Most Useful Player" of the Continental Hockey League. For 230 games played during three seasons Kovarzh was awarded the title of "Iron Man" in 2017.
