Flowers for the Alpine hill: selection features

Almost every person who has a garden tries to plant trees, bushes and flowers in it. Landscaping is becoming more popular. It allows not only to decorate the site, but also to distinguish it, to make the garden unique, special. The rock garden is a very important element of landscape design.

In order to organize it, you need to select the appropriate material and plants. Flowers for the alpine hill must be chosen very carefully (taking into account all the territorial, seasonal and climatic conditions). If you yourself do not have the opportunity to understand this, then use the advice of specialists.

So, it should be remembered that the rock garden is a multi-tiered composition that requires plants of different heights. To make it beautiful for a long time, it is necessary to select several types of flowers that will bloom, replacing each other.

On the uppermost level you can use flowers of perennial (undersized), for example, bulbous species. If the rock garden is on the sunny side of the garden, then plants must be planted such that they love light and do not require copious watering. For example, for the top of the structure perfectly fit the evergreen Iberis. It has a small height and blooms with beautiful white buds. Juniper and perennial carnations can also be an excellent decoration for the slide.

You can also choose such flowers for the alpine hill, like thyme creeping, edelweiss (very dislike for shade and has some difficulties in growing). As for the middle tier, plants that are equally fond of light and moisture are good for it. For example: ordinary lumbago (with large bells and very beautiful leaves), geykhra (has small flowers and original leaves), alpine asters. In addition, gentian will decorate your hill, although it is quite difficult to care for. Cyclamen, primroses, the bell of the Carpathians are all those flowers for the alpine hill that will decorate your design from spring to autumn.

On the lowest level, it is necessary to use those plants that are more fond of moisture than the sun. To such conditions, the spike lathris, the saxifrage are adapted. In addition, do not forget about the plants that lie on the ground. They very nicely distinguish a hill (for example, cotoneasters and spirea). They have a lot of different shades, so your design will turn out to be multi-colored and unique.

Perfectly decorate your garden with such flowers for the alpine hill, like rhododendrons. They look great in plant compositions, although they can be placed "solo".

It should be noted that in our time there are ready-made schemes, according to which you can organize the alpine slide yourself. They will be very useful for beginners, who are just starting to engage in gardening. If you are an experienced flower lover, you will be able to choose the scheme yourself. In any case, plants must be planted so that they can bloom long (and did not die due to improper conditions of detention).
