It is not a secret for anybody that it is important for a child to grow up in a full family, and the problem is not so much in his material support as in the emotional state. That is, one parent is not enough to make the child feel comfortable and grow up fully in all respects. And if mothers in our country have long been paid special attention, the fathers in many cases remained "behind the scenes." So, in Russia everyone knows that the Mother's Day celebration falls on the last Sunday November, but when Father's Day and whether such a thing exists at all, very few people knew and know. But to be a good father is a great responsibility and hard work, which deserves respect.

His roots go back to 1910. It was then that Mrs. Dodd, who lived in the city of Spokane (USA), offered to celebrate this holiday. So she wanted to express her gratitude to her dad, who raised her and five other children alone, and also supported other good fathers. In the US until 1966, not everyone knew when Father's Day, but that year he was recognized as a nationwide one. Celebrated and celebrated on the third Sunday of June. The authorities of America on this day provide support to fathers with low incomes raising children alone.

Since 1966, this holiday has gradually begun to be recognized in other countries of the world. Almost all citizens who are the birthplace of Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Cuba, the Czech Republic, France, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Turkey, Chile, Finland, France, South Africa, Switzerland, South Korea and many other countries. True, in different countries on different days celebrate Father's Day. The date of the celebration in Italy, for example, falls on March 19, Poland celebrates Father's Day on June 23, Australia on the first Sunday in September, Georgia on March 3, Sweden on the second Sunday in November, Brazil on the second Sunday in August.

In Russia this holiday has not yet been officially recognized, but most citizens of the country know when Father's Day. Moreover, in some regions of the country on the third Sunday of June it is actively celebrated. And everything began in 2003, when the club of the city of Novosibirsk "Native community" proposed to organize such a holiday that would remind us about the role of the family and about the values that should be laid in it. Over time, other regions joined the Novosibirsk region: Volgograd, Kursk, Lipetsk, Ulyanovsk regions, Dimitrovgrad, Kurchatov, Perm. And since 2011 Father's Day began to celebrate and in the cultural capital of Russia - St. Petersburg.

In 2008, Rossiyskaya Gazeta published an article with the title: "V. Putin promised to "think" over the introduction of the holiday "Father's Day in Russia". Many deputies are now in favor of introducing this holiday in the country, explaining this by the fact that fathers play a huge role in the upbringing of the child. Therefore, perhaps soon in Russia will be another official holiday - Father's Day, which will remind you that for a full-fledged education the child needs both an equal mother and father.
